Customer barely uses her AC, turned it on the other day since she is moving and had it run and then it turned off, but the fan was running. When I arrived I saw boxes and a tarp stacked right on the side of the main part of the outdoor coil for the package unit, I pulled the stuff away and started the system. It ran, I checked pressures and temperatures. Have a 21 degree split, also checked the filter which I found was plugged and packaged full of dirt. Replaced the filter and air flow got stronger. Went over with the customer that the compressor may have went into a thermal overload since not enough air was coming across it from the pile of stuff that was sitting in the way of the coil. Also told her she should replace her filters more often. System is operating now.
Found loose connection on fan control relay and wire burnt. Cleaned connections tighten all other connections on fan control relay tested system and blowing cold air from vents.
Completed annual ac check on one system. Cleared condensate line. Replaced one20x30x1 filter. Took temperatures and pressures. Brushed evap coils. No issues to report at this time.
Arrival to house noticed no power going to unit. Replaced blown fuse. Unit still not coming on due to thermostat uttons frozen not allowing switching options. Replaced thermostat and tested unit and took temperatures of supply and return. Everything operational.
Checked oil level in tank. Tank if full. Tank gauge indicating empty. Ran new oil line in crawl space from tank to furnace and installed check valve at tank. Customer had to leave for work. Still need to return and make connection to furnace and start up system and check operation. Customer will call with credit card payment, could not find check book and was late to work.
Found tiger loop reservoir empty and burner locked out. Reset burner, tiger loop filled and burner fired. Bled a gallon of oil to ensure no air. Still getting small amounts of air up through line. Crawled under home to inspect oil line for holes, splits leaks. Found none. Oil tank is very low. Customer needs to get oil delivery immediately.
Completed installation of tigerloop de aerator system. Purged oil line and cycled system several times. Checked system operation.
Found oil burner off. Primary control lockout. Bled oil line. System has history of oil line being air bound. Recommended installation of tigerloop. Customer has been quoted for work. Customer would like maintenance agreement mailed to her.
Hit reset, bled line, checked electrodes nozzle and burner head, system operational, recommend installing a tiger loop.
Leaned and serviced oil furnace, replaced filter strainer and nozzle.
Was not getting burner to stay on primary showing flame when there was no flame replaced cad cell eye and tested
Clean and service oil with MA that was owed from previous MA, also replaced transformer (Igniter). Mail copy of receipt to customer
Found system little low on r22 added up to 3 pounds and replaced filter also need to clear stuff around floor vents to get better air flow. Also need to replace filter 12x201 every month return is in the laundry room and sucking up all the lint.
