Completed replacement of boiler control board and display. Programmed control and checked operation. By connecting thermostat terminal wires to boiler. Still blowing three amp fuse. Tried running temporary wire from boiler to zoning panel with same result. Apparently Walter had wired in alarm to first boiler. Wired low voltage for call for heat continuously. Air handlers will only get heat when zone valves are open. Will need Walter no site when we return for pump so he can show re wiring he did so we can get both boilers running on call for heat only.

Arrived and found the unit running with the fan on. With all thermostats off the system continues to run, checked the EWC board for proper wiring, checked wiring inside the unit, did not find any breaks or shorts in the wires. Found the internal circuit board turning the fan on when no low voltage was attached. They do not make these circuit boards anymore due to the age of the system and also the brand. Customer would like pricing for a replacement system.

Completed UV leak search on ductless system with two indoor heads. Found leaks on two flare fitting connections at outdoor unit. Confirmed with UV light and electronic leak detector. Tightened both connections and rechecked with electronic and liquid leak detectors. Current running pressure 122psi, temperature differential on both indoor units is 19. No access to lineset connections to indoor units as they are inside wall. If system low on refrigerant again next season may need to open walls to check connections. Leak search was prepaid.
