Cleaned and serviced gas furnace. Inspected Heat exchanger. Cleaned flame sensor. Checked wiring, capacitor, and amp readings. Replaced air filter. Checked blower wheel and duct cleanliness. Performed combustion and efficiency test. Tested unit. System operational.
Upon arrival found system operational, looked up errors code f10 pointing at flame sensor and igniter, cleaned, tested, also did combustion test, found levels normal, system operational.
Replaced parts under warranty, tested, had customer test system, no issues to report, system operational.
Arrived and found no power to the system. Found the emergency switch off at the top of the stairs.
Need to schedule appointment to replace blower wheel and motor on Indoor wall unit.
Found breaker to boiler turned off, turned back on, tested, system operational, checked return and supply lines. Recommend maintenance on boiler
Found cad cell eye reading 3-4000 ohms, lens was fogged, replaced, tested, new eye reading 250-300 ohms, system operational. System shutting off to no flame.
No Heat. Fault code showed No Flame. Found Ignition transformer and cad cell eye to both be defective. Replaced both and system fired up. Ran for 10 minutes, did not kick off on error. System is operating normally.
Found indoor blower running at low speed continuously. Tried manually raising speed still running slow. Spoke to manufacturer and determined that expansion valve needs to be replaced. Need to order valves and return to replace.
Finished install/ humidifier.
Replaced gas valve and tested system. Adjusted gas pressure and took combustion test. System is operating properly.
Called for no heat. Previous company told customer she had bad zone valve. Found low voltage wire not making contact inside of wire nut causing zone to not engage. Readjusted wires and placed wire nut and both zones opened and closed with a call for heat. Pipes for both zones were getting hot, checked upstairs and downstairs baseboards, both hot. Seemed to be some air in system and air vent cap was on tight not allowing any air to be released, untightened cap and air hissed out of vent. Both zones operating at this time, system operating normally.
System fan just running reset system would run for 5 seconds and shut off, tested pressure switch which opened and closed, igniter working, found bad flame sensor and filter stuffed in unit causing blockage. Replaced flame sensor and tested system let run for 10 minutes and made sure system shut off.
1 gas & 1 A/C
Customer didn’t want to pay for blower wheel cleaning thought it was included in the tune up but pulling blower wheel is separate charge explained many different options for customer. No work performed

Completed replacement of indoor blower motor and indoor control board. Cycled system and checked operation. Tested system in both heat and cooling modes.
Pilot not lit upon arrival, smelled gas as soon walking into home. Found main union hand tight by water heater leaking gas, tighten union and tested for leaks. Tested a few components and found spill switch defective after jumping out thermocouple. Replaced spill switch pilot lit tested system. Also put emergency shut offs for customer so she could shut things off if she has too.
Performed two oil cleanings, replaced the filter, strainer and nozzle on both the furnace and water heater. Brushed and vacuumed heat exchangers and took combustion readings. Performed ac tune up, the filter is pretty clean, left another filter. Checked pressures and overall operation of system. The furnace and air conditioner are in decent condition but are very old. The systems are still working and are still pretty efficient.
Found blower motor inside intermittently cycling on and off, called tech support and went through a few tests. Mitsubishi wants us to replace the indoor control board and blower motor. We will need to give pricing to customer and return to perform work. (Has $40 coupon)
