Danny was so professional and honest. He was able to fix the error that was made and cleaned everything up for us. We only want Danny servicing our equipment going forward!
Fantastic, friendly service
Nicole - Holmes, NY
I called (a little out of contract) and got an appointment in 2 days, Danny was punctual, very friendly, and did a great job. He answered all my questions, and pointed out 2 things we needed to remediate (1 of them being we were nearly out of oil, which I missed because our service is automatic). Thrilled, as always, with Folkes professional service. Love the new system where they send a pic and name for who’s coming out, was pleased to see Danny again.
Reliable. Very happy they called to remind me that we needed the service

Tarra - Holmes, NY
Our old A/C unit was not working. Folkes sent out a technician the next day. He was professional and explained everything. Unfortunately it was not able to be fixed and they sent someone to give us an estimate. He was wonderful at explaining the process, what we needed and what our options were. We ended up replacing our system and the technicians at Folkes were courteous and professional. They put in long hours to get the job done and made sure they kept the the areas they had to walk through and work clean. I would definitely recommend them!
Help - Holmes, NY
After some debate about an anode today that did not exist in our indirect water heater, we used bleach to hopefully kill the bacteria that is causing the sulfur odor in the hot water. Wishing it will be gone with the wind.

Great, fast service, reasonable price
Nicole - Holmes, NY
After calling our usual company about a loud rumbling from our furnace, and being put off until Tuesday, I decided to take advice and give Folkes a try - I’m so glad I did, and so grateful for the fast, efficient service. We signed up for the service plan, a part will be ordered and replaced next week, and the furnace seems to be running much better in the meantime with no noise and no more smell (our furnace is old and Italian - a great furnace but uncommon and nobody keeps parts on hand). I was so grateful for the rapid response, they were here ahead of the promised time, and they couldn’t have been nicer or more professional. It was a great experience, the price was reasonable, and I really couldn’t be happier. Thank you Folkes!

Gave customer estimate for 50 gallon electric water heater, home has a 80 gallon tank that’s 17 years old, customer doesn’t want such a big tank. Customer will think about price and options and let us know.
Performed annual maintenance on air conditioning system, changed customer provided Merv filter 20x20x5, also recommended UV light system to customer due to mold build up on filter, cleaned indoor coil, cleared condensate trap which when I did so found crack on condensate trap, replaced with new trap and union, tested blower capacitor which tested out of range, replaced with new 10Uf capacitor, took delta T reading which was 17 degrees, at condenser tested pressures which were normal, tested capacitor which tested in range, contactor in good condition, outdoor coil in good condition, all amp readings for compressor and fan motor normal, system operational and working.
Arrived and the first floor hydro system was blowing cold air. Found an air pocket. Purged the zone and tested the system. No other issues to report.
Ac tune up x2. Checked pressures, capacitors, contactor, temperatures, replaced filters. Both condensers had mouse nests and low reading capacitors as well as both contactors are in rough shape, pressures seemed ok however customer has had a history of leaks with both units over the past few years. Gave customer estimate to replace 2 turbo 200s and 2 contactors, recommended that he is going to need to replace both units more and investing a significant amount of money into these units is not recommended. Customer agreed and would like to set up a comfort advisor appointment to replace both systems.

Jet line that was attached to oil pump was not properly secured during cleaning, tightened, checked nozzle, and oil filter canister, cleaned oil spill with oil absorbing powder, tested, system operational.
Installed high efficiency furnace with 16x25 media filter, new T6 thermostat and condensate pump.
Found furnace off upon arrival first door not sitting properly on door switch, power came on and furnace fired up let run took temperature reading and furnace not getting over 80 degrees through supply vents. Shut system off and inspected heat exchanger to temperature difference and seeing white flames. Found big crack in heat exchanger and small little cracks throughout heat exchanger. Customer will need replacement for residential replacement.

This is a estimate run approximately 20 feet of propane line to a stove top. This estimate includes running black pipe from discussed location of underneath the back deck along side of the house then up next to hose bib then through wood siding nested to dryer vent Mounting the line with unistrut and cushion clamps the. Through a piece of line hide to go up to dryer vent. Into the ceiling bay once into the ceiling bay we would then go to flex line. Run through ceiling to the location of the stove. Add a shutoff and flex connector. Once line is run we would then pressure test the line. Once pressure test is go we would then hook up stove and hook up new pressure regulator and connect it to the new tank. Performed work. Pressure tested line for 1 hour at 30 psi. no leaks. All is good at this time.
