Found pilot out. Relit and cycled burner on/off several times.
Arrived at customer home for a clogged kitchen sink. Sent cable machine through line could it clear line. Recommended that we water jet the line. After water jetting the line it cleared up. Customer then stated he could not pay the entire balance today after work was performed. Customer paid 215 today and can pay the remaining balance on november 2nd. All is good at this time.
C/S gas Boiler. Checked pressure and temp, expansion tank, water feeder, air vent, gas valve, burners, hyrdrostat. Also visually inspected water heater. Customer is interested in pricing for a new install for a/c system, customer would like to set up appointment with comfort advisor in regards to different pricing options, home currently only has window units.
No heat oil. Was at customers home last night 10/19/20 for no heat customer was out of oil. Customer received delivery today, bled oil line and system fired up, checked zone valves and allowed system to reach temperature. No charge for diagnostic to bleed line per dj, customer was charged last night for diagnostic and oil ma. System is operating at this time.
C/S Oil. Replaced strainer and nozzle, system does not have filter. Cleaned and brushed system. Performed combustion. Checked circulators for each zone, all operating normally. Checked oil pump, cad cell, transformer, primary, hyrdrostat, air vent, relief valve, extrol tank, pressure and temp.
No heat oil. Checked nozzle, nozzle was fine. Was not receiving any oil from tank. Pulled off filter tank and did not have any oil inside, tried bleeding pump and no oil was coming out. Tried pull pump but still did not receive any oil. Customer needs to have oil delivery. Customer signed up for Ma and needs a cleaning done, system hasnâ€™t been cleaned in 3 years.
Completed annual gas cleaning on one gas fired boiler. Cleaned burners. Took combustion analysis. Checked all major components. Adjusted gas pressure outlet on gas valve from 3.9 to 3.5. Found no issues at this time. All supplyâ€™s and returns were hot.
Completed annual ac tune up on one gas fired boiler. Replaced all media pads for pure air x air cleaner.
Arrived at customers home for a clogged bathroom sink. Found trap clogged. Cleared trap. Sink is flowing. Adjusted toilet handle. All is good at this time.
Completed annual tune up on one gas fired furnace. Flame rollout was unsafe. High limit switch was tripped upon arrival. Found crack in heat exchanger.
Performed annual maintenance on two gas furnace. Cleaned flame sensors, changed both return filters 14x30x1 and 16x25x1, inspected heat exchangers which was normal, tested capacitors second floor was in range, replaced first floor capacitor, all amp readings were normal, combustion test results normal, reset thermostats back to original temperatures. Also installed a UV light for each system . Systems operational and working.
Completed annual clean and service on one gas fired boiler. Checked all major components. Cleaned burners. Checked thermocouple (thermocouple in rough shape) . Tested overall operation. Performed combustion analysis. Tested for glycol in system (level was obsolete). Tested all zone valves (first floor starting to stick). No further issues to report at this time.
No heat due to bad aquastat and circulator pump, replaced parts, tested, system operational. Antifreeze levels are diluted, needs antifreeze. Checked all radiators.
Installed triangle tube instinct combi boiler, all new components required by boiler installation, exhaust and fresh air piped in pvc pipe ran to the outside of the house, pipping and wiring as needed, removed existing boiler, water heater and oil tank.
Primary control wasnâ€™t wired properly, adjusted, system operational. Recommend maintenance.
Customer stated that new humidistat was not turning humidifier. Humidity level in home was 74%. Highest setting on digital humidistat is 60% so humidifier wonâ€™t turn on until it is lower than 60%. Explained operation of control to customer again. Bypassed control just to ensure solinoid working correctly.
Cleaned and serviced gas boiler. Checked all components. No issues to report.
Arrived at customers home for a clogged kitchen sink drain. Removed trap assembly and sent snake through line. Line cleared up. Reconnected drain found basket strainer threads in poor condition. Tested and checked drain for leaks. All is good at this time.
Removed condenser so septic work can be done. Moved into garage. Will need to reinstall once work is done
Arrived and found leak from the air vent, closed it to stop the leak for now. Went over it with the customer. This was marked in the form yesterday and brought to the customers attention. Gave the customer the maintenance agreement price since we were here yesterday but she wanted to leave it as it was closed. Went over the potential issues with this and concerns. Also the relief valve was dripping g yesterday which also was marked in the form and the customer had pointed it out to me. This is still dripping but with a can under it. The customer will watch the dripping and the air vent and let us know if there is an issue
System not on when arrived, turned heat on just to make sure unit produced air flow which it did. Turned system off and everything turned off. Customer had a old washable filter I left out and added one of our filters from last tune up. Customer states feels cold air coming through vents which I found old chimney pipe not capped allowing air to get in basement next to vents in kitchen and dining room. Customer needs to have them capped to stop air flow coming up through floor. Need to order two 6 inch chimney caps.
Performed maintenance on heat pump mini split system. No issues to report.
Arrived and found leak from the relief valve, this was caused by a bad expansion tank, replaced both and tested system. Also performed annual maintenance on the system. No other issues to report.
Cleaned and serviced oil furnace, checked all components, replaced the air filter, oil filter, strainer, and the nozzle. Took a combustion test after the cleaning. System is operating normally.
